Mind, Body & Spirit Festival
I know this is a day late, it’s cause I was busy ;)
So we started the morning early, Monika, Jess and Fletcher, @ Fairfield - where we caught a nice train for once >_>;; The train trip consisted of various conversations, as we jumped to one topic to another; discussing about things like life and historical/philosophical ideas.
By the time we got to the convention, we were all high on air :)
The convention was very interesting. There was so much interesting stuff! We were fascinated by heaps of nifty stuff (Y). Those soaps were d.i.v.i.n.e - the watermelon one especially (pity none of us brought one..). Oh and that honey popcorn tasted just like caramel, but without the artificial sugar and colours. Only Monika and Fletcher saw psychics, both describing their experiences to be hauntingly accurate. Jessica got her aura photo done - which was very interesting, but very true also. I blew most of my money on various cards (tarot included) and my star chart - which was pretty accurate :) Although we had weird people approaching us, or weird people remembering us; the day was sooo enjoyable! Especially when we were being idiots and trying everything (and especially if they were free).
And for the whole day Fletcher was Monika’s pretend boy/girlfriend, they were even asked if they were a couple! ^_^ In which they responded with an “almost”.
The crap thing was that they had no ATM, so we had to go to the ATM outside - which was a bit annoying, since the line was so long. But all in all, the convention drove us broke, but at least we enjoyed ourselves ^_^

Tickets are $39 and you have to be 18 and over.
